Blazers vs. Hornets

Mike's brother, Rob, is a special events coordinator for the Wildhorse Casino and gets VIP tickets to games all the time from vendors who want to get in good with him and the casino. So, we were able to score the tickets since he didn't want to make the drive down for the game. It was so fun! We had great seats and a bracelet that got us into the good food area where they had steak, ribs, desserts, and other great foods. And it was free! Woohoo! Most of the pictures we got looked all the same, so I just put the one nearest us and a pic of us enjoying the game! Our pose was for my sister Rachael, who had the same picture with her boyfriend when they went to a Blazers game, so she said we had to get one like that. Here you go, Rache!

Day at Great-Gram & Pop's

We've been able to spend a couple different days at Great-Gram & Pop's house. They're only about a 40 minute drive and we try to go once a month. Dylan & Elle both have so much fun being with them & their cousins, who live just down the driveway, on the other end of a piece of land they they share. It's great to have so many fun people to play with that love them so much!

Watching Pop on the riding lawnmower, which he still calls "maw-mower"

Heading to the barn with Pop

Visiting the barn animals

Picking out our pumpkin for Halloween

They crumpled up balls of newspaper and put a few on each slat of the ceiling fan, then turned it on and watched them fly. This is him just staring at Danielle putting them all on.

They got to spend the day with their cousins cause they had the day off school. They had a blast!

What a Big Boy!

So, I would have loved to give him a big bed before we moved, but I knew that it would be best if we waited for a little while after we moved so that he wouldn't have to get used to a new bed and a new house all in one pop, so here he is with his "new bed" as he calls it. Every morning when he comes downstairs, he always says "Dinny (that's what he calls himself) sleep in new bed", it is so cute. I'm glad he likes it so much. In fact, when we were carting it around Costco, he laid on it the entire time. Hehehe.

This is where he fell asleep his first night with it

This is where he fell asleep his first nap with it

And even though after that first night he's always stayed in bed for bedtime, every now and then he'll fall asleep in the funniest places for his nap. These are just a couple...

Two Joys of My Life

So, I mentioned it in a previous post, but I just LOVE these two kids! I really cannot remember life without them! I was talking to Mike the other night and told him that I love them so much it hurts. I am so grateful that I have them for my very own. They're not someone else's kids that I just get to see, they are ALL MINE! AH! Man, unless you are a mom, you really cannot truly understand just how that feels. It is GREAT!

This was hilarious! She was totally okay, as he was just sitting on the white piece that sits up between her legs.

This is my favorite one, if I absolutely had to pick one

My Little Elle, My Sweet Belle, I Love My Elle...

The title of this is actually the first words of a song that I made for her. I have songs for both Dylan and Elle, and when I sing it for her, she smiles so big! I love it! She has only been here for 6 1/2 months and I couldn't imagine life without her. She brings such a wonderful spirit into our home, both her and Dylan. It's hard to explain, but it is simply difficult to remember life before them. Elle brings the biggest smiles with her, I call them her jewel smiles. You can't not smile when you see them...which makes life absolutely wonderful!

This is Dylan's play stroller and she fit right in!

I was so excited that she got to wear this at least once before she grew out of it and winter came

This was one of her first times eating solids, so cute!

She loves sitting at the table with us

Another feeding day, but not so happy this time :)

She absolutely LOVES her daddy

Cool chic

She did not like the fact that we all got eat and she couldn't, so we started giving her good size pieces of pizza crust and bagels or fruits and veggies to gnaw on so that she could be a part of the fun! She loved it and when it started getting soggy, I'd switch it out for a new one.

With her Pop

Elle and her beautiful Gram

Here's a funny comparison, Dylan at 4 1/2 mos and Elle at 5 1/2 mos in the same seat. I love it!

This pose looks totally professional!

Man, what a cutie!
