Winter 2008

Okay, it's been too long since I lasted posted pics, but I am trying to do better. It comes in stages. I'm waiting for it all to run together and to just consistently post a few at a time. We'll see how it goes...

Winter has come and go...hmmm, still here. It's cleared up a bit, but the cold is still lingering. Well, here is a quick look at the "best" of it. And just imagine a few more inches on top of this, completely covering the benches out back and the bike seats out front.

New job?

So, we are approaching the end of our school road, as Mike will be done with classes in a month! Sweet! I, for one, have been counting down the days for quite a long time. Even better than being done with school, we do have a job prospect and are praying the best will happen. Mike has had a phone interview with Intel and is now scheduled for an on-site interview on Monday. We are so excited as this is exactly what we've been hoping for. So, we'll just have to wait and see what pans out!

New Year's in Washington

And we spent New Year's with his family in Washington, which was also a blast. Especially since Dylan got to see cousins a few times while we were there and had a blast chasing them around the house & playing cars with them.

A pose with cousin, Justice

Family shot

He was enthralled with this singer/guitarist at Fiesta Mexican Restaurant.
He never took his eyes off him as long as he could hear him. It was so fun to watch!

He actually liked this lime. He gave a classic sour-face
once, but after that he just kept on sucking!

He finally realized he could reach the water pedal, so thank goodness there was a lock on it!

This happened many times during the cousins stay. Justice would either say
"Give kisses" and they would both go in for it or Lilly Mae (in the yellow) would just
walk up to him, grab his shoulders and give him a smacker! So cute!

Christmas Break in Oregon

We spent Christmas this year with my family in Oregon. It was a lot of fun & Dylan seemed to warm up to people he hadn't seen in quite a while pretty quickly. Yay!

Trying on Grammie's shoes

Exploring our suitcase, making sure everything worked

Washing Dad's feet. How cute!

Hello? This is the remote to the massage chair that of course he saw as a phone.

With 2nd cousin, Dan

With Aunt Raquel
(She has never gone by Aunt Rachael. After I gave her the nickname Raquel,
she's gone by Aunt Raquel and thinks Aunt Rachael it sounds weird )

I should have included this in the "Chillin' like a Dylan" post :)

His first Christmas present

He spent the next 20 minutes pushing this box around the kitchen

Helping Pop vacuum

(The last time there was snow on Christmas day in Oregon was in 1934. Wow.)
