My Dylan Michael

I can't believe that my sweet boy is nearly 2 1/2. Time has flown by so quickly! He loves the new house and has since the day we moved in. He never seemed to have a problem with it at all, mostly because he has a ton of room to run around and all of his stuff moved with us! :)

And don't worry, pictures of Elle will follow! I didn't forget, just doing them as I get the chance.

Dylan & Dad - what a great pair

Playing Lego Star Wars...

...and always wondering what new game Dad got on my Touch

A few days after we moved in, watching the Incredibles, while we unpacked some things in the kitchen

Out in our side yard

My grandma found a box our old toys that were stored at her house and Dylan took right to this boy Cabbage Patch baby

As always, into any shoes he can find..I love it!

This is Great-Papa's walker that he wanted to eat lunch on

Another love...driving. Here he is in his bean box. He pretends to drive with anything that's round, and even some things that aren't round. :)

He LOVES his Aunt Quel. She'll be going off to Utah in January. He will miss her so much, and she will miss him just as much!

Shirt-hat boy!

He's set to go with his bubble gun & Dad's badge

Yet another love...dancing! The Wiggles Magical Adventure is his ABSOLUTE FAVORITE movie. Whenever he watches it he HAS to have his guitar so that he can play along and dance. I'll try to get a video up here, you'll love it! I can't get enough of it myself!

And not only does he dance to The Wiggles, but he can't wait to exercise with me every morning. He calls it "sizes" and does every move Chalene does, while running up and pointing to her, saying "Chalene!" He also HAS to be wearing his boots. It's hilarious and very helpful to have such a great exercise buddy!

Certainly not a cute one of me, blah, but a darn cute one of him! These are his toy baskets.

Much to my surprise, I came down after putting a load of laundry in upstairs, to find this! He'd emptied the entire container of Ovaltine! What a wonderful invention vacuum cleaners are! Heehee.

Mike's brother, Rob, and sister-in-law, Karla, came to celebrate Karla's 30th birthday. So, we got to watch they're kids Justice, Julien, and Lilly. Dylan had a blast with them and this is him with Lilly after they had bounced their little hearts out. They also may have bounced their voices out, too, since they screamed the whole time!

My Budding Photographer

These are a few shots that Dylan wanted to take all by himself. If I do say so myself, he's not too bad. The last one definitely shows some potential! :)

Home Sweet Home

Well, well, well...here we are again, after 3 months! It's not that I don't love posting new pictures, it's just that I take a LOT of them AND I don't even think to post more often than once a month, so THEN it takes forever to sort through which ones I want to post on the blog, which is daunting, THEN I'd need to resize them & red-eye-nix them (which makes it faster for me to take the picture in the first place, because the red-eye reducer on my camera is an extra flash, which means the picture actually taken is a second after the perfect shot I was taking the picture for) SO I end up getting emails from friends asking me when on earth I am going to post new pictures AND even more telling me that I need to post new pictures - I'm being lazy AND my husband also asking, I'd say probably every couple of weeks, if I did the blog yet SO then a day comes that I say, "That's it, I'm posting to the blog!" (so now Mike asks me about it every day, which is really a boost for me to get it done, cause I really do want to. He's so supportive in so many ways! Mmmm) SO I sit down and sort through pictures one day (because, hey, it takes a while), batch them into posts, red-eye, and resize them the next day, and now I'm posting!

So, what is the moral of this ever growing tale?
It is that if I would just sit down and do it once a week (or even pick out pictures each night from that day) then my note on this post would be 10 words long instead of about 300. :) Or, in short, JUST DO IT MORE OFTEN! I'm learning my lesson slowly, which I guess is the best way, cause the habit will last longer...I suppose.

SO ENJOY!

Here is our house, which I absolutely LOVE! And
I will feel perfectly comfortable here for a long time,
until we are able to buy a house of our own!
